“As SAAYC, the whole objective of gathering these young people is to capacitate them and to give a strong message that in whatever they do in their individual organizations, sustainability is always vital.”
Individuals, organisations, start-ups, or entrepreneurs use social entrepreneurship to develop, fund, and execute solutions to social, cultural, or environmental challenges. This notion may be applied to a broad variety of organizations that differ in size, goals, and values. SAAYC continues to propel young people to living their dreams all across South Africa.
Mr Tumelo Chaka facilitated the sessions, along with the guest entrepreneurs he invited on board. Simphiwe Seme, the founder of the Soweto apparel business, Katleho Chacha, a mixologist at Bartender, Lebohang Rapitsi, the chief of staff at FNB, and Tsholofelo Moagi, the founder of Sip Sup Africa are among those featured.
All of the presenters inspired and challenged the young minds to think globally and implement innovative tactics that would continue their organization with or without funding. Group exercises and evaluations were used to examine participants’ comprehension of the topic and their degree of reasoning capacity when it came to social entrepreneurship. The conclusion was exceptional since they shown excellent insight and went above and above, bringing answers to real-life societal concerns that varied firms face.
“During the lessons, I discovered that even a black youngster can do it,” said Northern Cape region resident Sindisa Qeqe.
