What does SAAYC do?
Answer:
We facilitate and implement integrated youth development programs through collaboration with strategic partners for the benefit of young people in Southern Africa. We are a cornerstone for youth development focusing on pioneering:

How do I contact SAAYC?
Where is SAAYC located?
ANSWER:
We are accessible nationally through our Programmes Provincial Co-ordinators and we have 4 youth centres (located at Phefeni Soweto, Orange Farm, Etwatwa, Makeneng QwaQwa)

SAAYC Strategic Pillars outline what the organization must do to accomplish its mission and evaluate our performance through them and assists SAAYC remain relevant and competitive. Our pillars are (Sustainability, Uniqueness, Young People, Operations, Staff and Manpower)
What is Our Strategy in leading South Africa’s Youth?
ANSWER:
Our strategic plan is aimed at providing a guide, defining a clear “direction” –and encouraging flexibility and innovation as frontrunners in youth leadership development and pioneers of youth work professionalization in South Africa. We aim to extend our influence to be ‘thought leaders’ in youth matters in contemporary South Africa and the Southern Hemisphere. The plan seeks to drive a strong focus to our work in the form of five youth-impact objectives, driven by well researched needs and priorities. It reminds us to be steadfast in our focus and historical commitment to helping the youth in our communities to access programmatic interventions geared towards developing their skills to be better leaders, thus responsible community members and drivers of innovation and positive changes for our communities. The plan also seeks to strengthen our commitment to partners, key stakeholders, and other organizations with a focus on youth, especially those in vulnerable communities and rural settings, and most importantly to our donors.
How does SAAYC approach youth development?
ANSWER:
SAAYC Youth Centre Programmes: Through a progressive approach of packaged programmes that assist an integrated development of young people in Life skills, Leadership, Technical, Problem Solving.
Youth Clubs: Managing effective Clubs/Organisations, Life Skills, leadership, Technical, Social Entrepreneurship
Who are SAAYC target beneficiaries?
ANSWER:
We work with youth clubs and organisations of any focus or purpose throughout South Africa. Our primary age group is 14-24 Years, and the secondary age group is 18 to 35 Years
How do I register to SAAYC Offerings and Programmes?
ANSWER:
Through a registration application system accessible on our website www.saayc.co.za or by contacting us on info@saayc.co.za, or 011 (674 – 5405)
What the categories for registration?
ANSWER:
We have 3 two registration categories to access our key delivery of capacitating organisations works through organised groups.
1. Youth Clubs/Organisations: Register as an organisation for organisational development pathway.
2. Young people: individuals register for one-off events that will take place during the strategy roll-out programmes e.g., Hackathon and Leadership seminar.
3. Centre Programmes: At the centre level, participants will register as individuals and be taken through the centre learning path.

Are your programs free?
ANSWER:
All programmes are free except for the Youth ICT age programme.
What are the benefits of participating in Centre programs?
ANSWER:

Is SAAYC a fundraising institute ?
ANSWER:
No, SAAYC does not fund or donate any monetary items
Do we accept people with disabilities?
ANSWER:
Our facilities are not yet disability user-friendly, we are working on that. However, we are willing to manually assist disabled into our programmes, in so far as is comfortable for them.
